What is Areola Restoration?
Areola restoration is a technique in the paramedical branch of permanent makeup (PMU). This technique focuses on the drawing and design to recreate the illusion of an areola and nipple with a hyperrealism effect. The 3D effect is achieved using contrasting combinations of light and shadow that create an incredible effect when combined in the right way. Areola restoration is used for aesthetic or medical procedures for both men and women and breast cancer survivors.
